Amdocs Ltd, a U.S.-based provider of customer experience systems, announced that its operations support system (OSS) has been chosen by Guangdong Mobile Communication Corporation (GMCC), a subsidiary of the country's largest mobile phone operator China Mobile<941>, sources reported.
"Amdocs OSS can help the Guangdong firm to consolidate valuable network information onto a single system to get the most value of our network assets, and deliver a more consistent experience to our customers." said Xin Duan, project manager of GMCC.
This is Amdocs' first OSS project in China. Amdocs is a provider of software and services for billing, customer relationship management (CRM), operations support systems (OSS) and Web Portal.
With more than 60 million of subscribers, Guangdong Mobile Communication Corporation is one the largest subsidiaries of China Mobile and contributes to about one quarter of the mobile operator's total revenue.
